Advocacy is available for those experiencing Domestic Violence, Sexual Violence, or Human Trafficking.
Advocates provide short-term, crisis-focused support to individuals and families experiencing immediate danger or instability due to domestic or sexual violence. Our goal is to help survivors stabilize their situation, regain a sense of safety, and then connect them to long-term supports, like mental health professionals, for ongoing healing and growth.
While we are not therapists, we do offer compassionate, empowering support that includes:
- Developing personalized safety plans
- Supporting survivors in setting boundaries and identifying personal goals
- Encouraging use of healthy coping strategies
- Identifying safe support systems
- Providing education about healthy relationships, violence, and abuse
- Referring individuals to community partners, including mental health resources
Advocates also walk alongside survivors as they navigate complex systems like legal, housing, healthcare, and more, ensuring no one has to face these alone.
All services are offered free of charge and are completely confidential.
